i take photographs and write small programs. neither is my job, which is the point of both.

most of the pictures here are made within an hour of where i live, usually early, usually because the light did something i hadn’t seen before. i shoot film when i want to slow down and digital when i want to be honest about how often i miss.

the software is the same instinct in a different medium: small tools, finished quickly, kept only if they survive a month of use. a few of them are in the index. the rest are in a folder called ~/attempts.
